of Reflection

All ladies are invited to join us from 9:15 a.m. to noon. The morning includes
mass, confession, refreshments, a talk and the rosary. This month Fr. James Swanson, LC continues his series on the Doctors of the
Church with St. Bernard of Clairvaux. A donation of $5 is appreciated.

5th to 10th - Catholic Education Week
Each year the Catholic community of Ontario engages in a week-long celebration of the unique
identity and distinctive contributions of Catholic education. This year’s theme is Growing Together in Faith.
Thursday, May 9th - National March for Life
Bus leaves Wal-Mart south parking lot at 7:30 a.m. with stops at St. Andrews Parish church and Monkland at the former
St. Mary’s Restaurant. We will attend Mass at St. Patrick’s Cathedral at 10:00 a.m. and will join the march at noon.
Bring
a lunch and walking shoes. The bus leaves from the front of the Parliament Buildings at 4:00 p.m. sharp for the
return to Cornwall. To reserve your spot contact Joan at 613.931.2087. There is no charge to board the bus.

12th to 19th - National Week for Life and the Family
This first annual National Week for Life and the Family runs from May 12 (Ascension
Sunday) to May 19 (Pentecost Sunday). The bishops of Canada decided on this initiative because of the value that the Church places
on families.
Thursday, May 16th - A Path of Freedom and Unity
The Associates to the Charism of the Religious Hospitallers
of St. Joseph invite you to join them on a path of self-discovery, fellowship and a deepening of faith through a special devotion
to the Holy Family. The evening begins at 7:00 p.m. at the Jeanne Mance Hall at the St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre (14 York Street,
